County Surplus Vehicles & Equipment Available Through Online Auction

Poughkeepsie... Over sixty vehicles and equipment items are currently available for bid during Dutchess County’s Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Auction, being conducted online at    The auction ends Sunday, July 31st at 8pm.     Details and photos are available online for most items.    Vehicles can also be previewed at the Dutchess County Auto Center located at 570 Salt Point Turnpike in Poughkeepsie now through Friday from 9am to 4pm.    There will be a “vehicle preview & start up” on Saturday, July 30th from 8am to 12pm for interested bidders.

Vehicles being auctioned include several passenger buses, police vehicles, utility trucks, vans and passenger sedans.    Equipment items available for bid include arc welders, hydraulic jacks, new LaserJet printer cartridges and even a vintage Remington manual typewriter plus much more.

Absolute Auction & Realty, Inc will conduct the auction.  All items will be sold in “as-is” condition, with no warranties or returns.   All vehicles must be paid for by cash or guaranteed funds, non-vehicles must be paid by cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover or Paypal.    A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be in effect.  Payments must be made by August 5th at 3pm.    Winning bidders must pick up vehicle or equipment items no later than 4pm on August 10th.
