HEAP Can Help You With Your Energy Bills.
 

HEAP assists individuals with the cost of heat and energy-related expenses. Eligibility is based on household income. 
 

The Heating Equipment Tune-up benefit provides for equipment inspections and cleanings prior to the start of the heating season for eligible households.The Regular HEAP benefit is a supplement to assist low income households by paying a portion of their heating costs; the Emergency HEAP component meets emergency heating needs, as defined by HEAP regulations. Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement (HERR) assists eligible homeowners with furnace and tank repair or replacement.  HEAP Cooling Component provides for the purchase and installation of fans or air conditioners to eligible households. HEAP Season Dates

Please be advised we cannot give out or accept HEAP applications for these programs prior to their opening dates.  Closing dates may vary depending on available funding.

  • Heating Equipment Clean and Tune - Open
  • Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement - Open
  • Regular HEAP - Opens November 13, 2018 and continues through the winter.
  • Emergency Fuel Depots - Opens November 13, 2018 and continues through the winter.
  • Emergency HEAP Component - Opens January 2, 2018 and continues through the winter.
  • Cooling HEAP Component - Closed
