Mission Statement 

To assist the Emergency First Responders of Dutchess County and local municipalities to prepare and respond to natural and man-made emergencies in their communities.    Emergency Response Mission Statement image


Guidance is provided through established protocols such as Dutchess County’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and the Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Mutual Aid Plans.

The County’s 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center provides a central communications center for EMS, Fire and Police.

Business Hours:  9:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Coordinator's Message

Please support the volunteer fire and EMS responders of the County.  The need for more volunteers is greater than ever.  If you cannot volunteer, please consider offering them support in their various activities and events.  Attending a firehouse dinner or pancake breakfast is a great way to allow you to say thank you to the volunteers in your community who answer your calls for assistance.
