link on the login page to register for an account.
-
I forgot my password, what do I do?
You may reset your password by using the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
You will need to enter your username and the answer to the secret question you provided when you
created your account. If you provide the correct information, a new, temporary password will be e-mailed to your account. After using
that new password to login to your account, you will be prompted to change your password to
one of your choice.
-
How do I update my user information?

and login using your username
and password. You will be given an option to edit your user account information.

-
Why are some questions / fields on the application disabled or grayed out?
Certain fields on the application are dependent on your answer to another question or part of
a question. Therefore, if your answer to one question renders the need for another response
unnecessary, it will appear as disabled or grayed out.
For example, If you checked that you are a United States citizen, there is no need to enter an
alien registration number. Therefore, that textbox is disabled.
Or, if you indicated that you do not have a valid driver license, the drop-down list for
selecting the driver license class is disabled.
-
Can I edit an application after I have submitted it?
No, once you click the "Finish" button on the application wizard, the application
is saved and may not be edited. If you need to submit additional information or if you forgot
to include specific information, you must submit the information to the Dutchess County
Department of Human Resources along with the additional application information cover page. Contact
the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources for further details.
-
What is the additional application information cover page?
The additional application information cover page contains the application number, exam number,
and your contact information and must be submitted along with any additional information or
items related to your application. The cover page can be printed for each application from
the Past Applications page.
-
Why is there no status for recruitment applications?
Recruitment applications are collected for a specific recruitment or job opening. If the
application is approved, you may be contacted for further information or an interview.
-
I took the exam, why is the score not posted?

for the exam and scores to be processed and the eligible list to be created. Remember, you

eligible list once the list has been established.
