Our County has much to offer in the area of Culture and the Arts. Take time to visit a wide range of museums, art galleries, and cultural centers. In addition, our colleges and libraries sponsor exhibitions, lectures, performances, workshops and classes for all ages.

One of the County’s attractions is the historic Bardavon 1869 Opera House which is Dutchess County's premier center for the performing arts and the home of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic.

The arts community welcomes everyone to participate in cultural activities, on stage or behind the scenes.
