Meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m., at Dutchess County Traffic Safety Board Offices, 626 Dutchess Turnpike, 1st Floor, Poughkeepsie NY 12603 (subject to change).
Dutchess County continues to have an active Traffic Safety Board. The DCTSB supports a coordinated program of comprehensive highway safety and traffic injury prevention efforts to address traffic related problems. Our combined successes have been numerous, and a review of the statistics reveals that we must continue with an increased commitment to traffic safety in our community. Reductions in the number of personal injury crashes, total injuries, and fatal crashes/deaths are likely the result of enhanced enforcement activities related to unsafe driving behaviors, seat belt use compliance, and child passenger safety initiatives.
