Dutchess County and the City of Poughkeepsie have released a Final Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing (AI) report as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a condition for the receipt of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds.

This report reviews fair housing issues and “fair housing choice.”  Fair housing choice is about making sure people have a variety of housing choices available to them throughout the community, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, familial status, disability, and national origin.
