Model Subdivision Regulations
Incorporate a pre-sketch planning meeting between the municipality and applicant in order to save time and money while helping the community make sure the subdivision project meets local goals. In addition, discover what a difference a few additional submission requirements can make to the review process, such as a Resource Analysis and Checklist. Zoning Referral Process (GML) (.pdf)
According to State Law, certain applications to local boards must also be circulated to our Department for review and comment (called "Referrals"). On average, we review over 600 referrals a year. Referrals must be submitted to the County by the reviewing municipality, not the applicant. Find out more about:
