Natural Resource Inventory (NRI)
The Natural Resources Inventory describes the various resources found in Dutchess County, such as wetlands and water resources, slopes, soils, bedrock and surficial geology, biological resources, climate and air quality, and protected lands.  The NRI also provides guidance on how to use the information and data to inform local decision-making, and includes up-to-date maps using the county’s extensive Geographic Information Systems (GIS) natural resource data layers.
