Mission Statement horizontal line

The primary mission of the Division of Public Transit is to provide Dutchess County with a safe, efficient, accessible and reliable public transportation system.

The Division of Public Transit provides transit service to Dutchess County through two modes of service: fixed route service and demand response services like Dial-A-Ride and Paratransit.  Public Transit runs a RailLink bus service in cooperation with the Metro-North Railroad.  The Division of Public Transit also coordinates non-emergency Medicaid transportation for the Dutchess County Department of Community & Family Services.
