    2010216  Request for a Report from County Officials on the Dutchess Stadium July 9, 2010 Fireworks Incident
    Requesting that the County Attorney provide information regarding any/or potential liability to the County of the
    July 9th incident at the September 13th Board Meeting.

    2010223  Authorizing Renewal of Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Poughkeepsie for Maintenance of the Town of Poughkeepsie    
    Portion of the Dutchess Rail Trail 
    The Town of Poughkeepsie agrees to maintain that portion of the rail trail in the Town for 2010 and 2011
    at the Town’s expense not to exceed $7,500.

    2010224   Authorizing Renewal of Intermunicipal Agreement with the Town of Wappinger for Maintenance of the Town of Wappinger Portion of 
    the Dutchess Rail Trail
    The Town of Wappinger agrees to maintain that portion of the rail trail in the Town for 2010 and 2011 at the Town’s expense
    not to exceed $7,500.

    2010225   Establishing Capital Project Account for Consolidated Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) Funds for 2010
    CHIPS funding in the amount of $2,593,000 for a Pavement Management Program, Guide Rail Program, Culvert and Bridge           
    Projects and Miscellaneous Highway Improvement Projects.

    2010226   A Resolution Authorizing the Issuance of $3,456,600 Serial Bonds  of the County of Dutchess, NY, to Pay the Cost of the Purchase and   
    Installation Life Safety, Security and Communication Equipment at the County Jail, in and for Said County  (For Discussion Only)
    Design and installation of Life Safety, Security and Communication equipment improvements to replace existing, obsolete sliding gate controls, electronic security and communication systems at the County Jail.

    2010227  Authorizing Option to Renew Lease Agreement with American Tower Management, Inc. (formerly Five States Communications,  Inc) Providing communication services for the County’s Governmental Communications System
    The renewal of the lease of the communication Tower on Clove Mountain in the Town of Union Vale is for an additional 15 years at no cost to the County.

    2010228  Authorizing a Dutchess County Sustainable Energy Loan Program
    Establishment of a Sustainable Energy Loan Program to promote the deployment of renewable energy systems and energy efficiency 
    improvement measures at residential and commercial properties.

    2010229  Establishing Plan to Increase Recycling in Dutchess County
    Requesting haulers to collect food waste with lower rates for clean source-separated materials, requesting RRA to phase out incineration or land filling of recyclable material, urge all residents and businesses to source-separate re-usables, and requesting    Central Services to purchase only products with reusability.

    2010217  Local Law Electing a Retirement Incentive Program, Part A thereof,    as Authorized by Chapter 105, Laws of 2010 for the Eligible Employees of Dutchess County
    Targeted incentive providing one additional month of service credit for each year credited service maximum credit is 3 years.  The County must demonstrate that savings of 50% of 2-year base salary of targeted position. Open period is September 1 through October 30, 2010.

    2010218  Local Law Electing a Retirement Incentive Program, Part B thereof,  as Authorized by chapter 105, Laws of 2010 for the Eligible Employees of Dutchess County
    Allows Tier 2, 3 and 4 members of the NYS Retirement System who are at least 55 years of age and have 25 years of service to retire without benefit reduction.  Open period is October 1 through December 29, 2010.

    2010230  Authorizing Implementation of Discount Dental Program Through the National Association of Counties (NACo)
    The discount dental benefit program is administered by Careington    International Corporation and provides discount cards for all the    citizens of the County at a charge of $59 per year per individual or $69 per family at no charge to the County.

    Investment Partnership Program
    Federal funding for the construction of affordable housing for low and moderate income individuals in the amount of $1,119,305.

    2010235  Authorizing the Finance Department to Receive and Disburse Funds Allocated to Dutchess County under the Shelter Plus Care Program
    Federal Funding in the amount of $575,448 under the CoC Homeless Assistance Program to promote the development of  supportive housing and supportive services to homeless persons to enable them to live as independently as possible.

    2010192  Local Law banning the use of Indoor Tanning Facilities by those under the age of 18 (For Discussion Only)
    Due to the increase risk of melanoma, according the NCI, especially in childhood and teen years, it is prohibited for persons under 18 years of age to use tanning facilities.

    2010215  Adopting a methodology to charge back to municipalities the costs of election services.
    Adopting a method by which the county and municipalities share in certain costs for elections.
