Local Laboratories for Water Testing

The Dutchess County Department of Health’s Environmental Laboratory was closed effective March 1, 2011 and is no longer accepting samples.

New York State Department of Health’s Wadsworth Center under its Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) certifies laboratories.

For your convenience, below is a list of several area laboratories that accept water samples from the public for a fee. Please contact the individual laboratory for pricing, sample containers, sample collection directions, and hours of operation.
