As your Commissioner of Health, I work every day to assure that communicable diseases are accurately diagnosed, treated and reported. You can help by making sure that you understand your role and responsibilities to provide our Department with timely reports of any definitive or suspect communicable disease conditions. Together, we will be able to identify, treat and limit the spread of any infectious agent in our community. Additionally, I know that we are all working to prevent and reduce the burden of chronic diseases and injuries in our community. You will find resources here that address those concerns as well.
