The New York State Department of State’s Office of Fire Prevention and Control’s Training Authorization Letter (.pdf), is to be used as the registration for all County and New York State training courses that are held here in the County.
Registrations, using this form, will only be accepted from the Chief of the Department or their authorized designee(s).

As registrations are accepted, the student’s name will be added to the course list and provided to the SFI or CFI for the class. A list of scheduled classes and students enrolled in each can be found on this site under the Training Schedule tab. We are working on a new web site to post upcoming County and State training courses, as well as allowing you to register for the courses online.
