help prepare for and respond to emergencies by adding to the existing local emergency and public health resources.

 

MRC Volunteers ...

 
are office workers, interpreters, chaplains, legal advisors, drivers, business owners, college students and anyone who has a desire to help in an emergency event.

 

MRC Volunteers...

 
are medical and public health professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians, epidemiologists, mental health and emergency medical service providers.

 

WHY Should I Join the MRC?

Become an essential player, making Dutchess County a healthier and safer Community.

As an MRC Volunteer, you will be able to:

  • Assist local community partners such as hospitals, health department and emergency service organizations with personnel needs.

  • Participate in mass prophylaxis and vaccination and community disaster drills.

  • Train with local emergency response partners.

  • Receive MRC training to enable the unit to be competent, capable and credentialed workforce.
