Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at County's New Burn Building
Live Demonstration to take place courtesy of the Fairview Fire Department

Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to announce the completion of the County’s new live-fire burn building constructed for local fire department training purposes. The ceremony will take place at the site, 392 Creek Road in the Town of Hyde Park, at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29th, 2004.

Chief Mike Schmidt with the Fairview Fire Department will conduct a live demonstration for the event. Community leaders, volunteer firefighters, emergency response personnel and police have been invited to attend. The event should be concluded by 5:00 p.m.

Representatives from the press corps are cordially invited. Please RSVP by close of business Monday, June 28th, 845/486-2000.
