The Dutchess County Clerk’s Office and Poughkeepsie Department of Motor Vehicles are located at 22 Market Street in the City of Poughkeepsie one block before the Mid-Hudson Civic Center.  

From the Taconic State Parkway and Points East - Take Rt. 44 or Rt. 55 West until it merges to form the West Bound arterial.  Take the West Bound Arterial (44-55) to Washington Street. Bear left behind the Civic Center. Then take a left onto the Eastbound Arterial (44-55). Turn left again at Market Street. The office is on the left, 2nd block after light.

From Rt. 9 and the Mid-Hudson Bridge - Take the Eastbound Arterial (44-55). At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left onto Market Street. The office is on the left, 2nd block after light.

Parking is available at the following locations:

• Dutchess County Parking Lot - Next to County Office Building, 22 Market St. (opposite the Bardavon Opera House)
• Cannon Street Parking Lot - Across from the Board of Elections, 47 Cannon St.
• Financial Plaza Parking Deck - Across from the Civic Center, Market St.

Wappingers Falls - From Poughkeepsie, head south on Rt. 9. Once you have passed New Hackensack Road, go through three more sets of lights, turn left at the fourth set onto Myers Corners Road. Almost immediately, you will come to another set of traffic lights. Turn left into Hollowbrook Park, where the DMV office is located in Building 3 next to Dutchess Community College.  

Beacon - From I-84, head south on Rt. 9D. Turn left   onto Main Street. The office is at 223 Main Street, in the Beacon Center. 

Millbrook - Take Rt. 82 to Rt. 44 into the village of Millbrook.  At the intersection with Front Street turn left and go right onto Merritt Avenue. 

Pawling - Take Rt. 55 to Rt. 22, head north on Rt. 22 to the first set of lights. Turn left onto South Main Street. Coming into the village you will come to a set of traffic lights at Coulter Avenue.  Head left onto Main Street. The DMV is a short distance ahead, on the right. It is located at the rear of the Village Hall, at 20 East Main Street.
