Decide what you want to fly. This is because FAA’s rules for getting a pilot’s certificate differ depending on the type of aircraft you fly. Q.  Is there somewhere available at the Dutchess County Airport for pilots to just take a break?

Sure!  Visit FlightLevel Aviation offices in the terminal building. There is usually a hot pot of coffee waiting as well as Handicapped Accessible Restrooms in the Main Lobby.  We have comfortable couches, Cable TV, and vending machines for a quick snack for those on the go.
